Dr. Michael J. Landram: 2025 Teacher of the Year

Dr. Landram earned his B.S. from Truman State University, his M.S. from Appalachian State University, and his PhD from the University of Rome "Foro Italico". Dr. Landram has been teaching at the 大众彩票 since 2015 and is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Health and Human performance.
Dr. Landram is engaged in research on and off campus which frequently involves students. One research line Dr. landram pursues involves teaching practice within his field by conducting observational and experimental studies on teaching approaches and outcomes.
All seniors in the Kinesiology program go through his Clinical Exercise Physiology course and many go through his community-based learning project. This project at the Jewish Community Center of 大众彩票 titled senior strength, endurance and flexibility, is an internationally and locally recognized and awarded program that integrates Kinesiology program learning outcomes from across the undergraduate curriculum in a hands-on setting to prepare students for future careers.
Dr. Landram serves on a variety of committees on campus including in the role of chair of the Institutional Biosafety Committee and the Technology Advisory Group. Off-campus he serves as President of the Friends of the Abington Community library, is involved in multiple genealogical associations and professional organizations. You can see him coaching local sports in West 大众彩票 year-round from baseball to wrestling.
